Programs for Adults at the Marble Mountain Ranch

1. Mushrooming workshop with macro-photography: April 16, 17, 18 and November 12, 13, 14
This seminar features guided mushroom hunting and identification of saleable, edible and exotic mushroom species. Bring your cameras, since this is also a splendid opportunity to practice your macro photography of forest and meadow mushroom species. Evenings will include slide shows of some of John Harlan's exhaustive mushroom photography, guest lectures, and culinary opportunities with collected edible mushrooms.

cost: $480/person meals, lodging and all events, single rate $525.00

2. Steelhead fishing and Quilting/scrap booking retreat: Oct 8, 9, 10
This is an opportunity for the gals to gather in a quilting retreat while the guys spend the day outdoors fishing for steelhead. This fun opportunity allows for couples to travel together and enjoy beautiful settings, great lodging and meals, while pursuing their own hobbies during the day.

cost: $1060/per couple. Includes 3 nights lodging, all meals from
dinner on day 1 to breakfast on morning of departure, 2 days quilting instruction and 2 days drift boat fishing. Fishing based on double occupancy of boat.

3. Cooking and Adventure Classes: May 21- 24 (depart a.m. on 25th) or Sept. 16 - 19 (depart a.m. on 20th)
During our 4 days we will combine 1/2 day cooking classes with either whitewater rafting in the afternoon or horseback riding in the mornings. Singles, couples, men and women are all welcome to join in the fun.

Cost: $840.00/person based on double occupancy, Single rate $885.00/ per person

4. Photography Workshop: June 4 - 6 (depart a.m. on 7th) or Sept. 9 -11 (depart a.m. on 12th)
This unique photography seminar will give you the ability to explore photo opportunities from both land and river based excursions. Our photo instructors have lived for many years in this beautiful setting and will help you locate wild-life such as bald eagles, blue herons, and red tailed hawks as well as their nests. You will also have opportunity to fine tune your landscape photography skills as well.
